Blue Monday Mission presents, "A Tribute to the Zydeco Kings: Clifton Chenier, Buckwheat Zydeco, & Rockin Dopsie" to kickoff Blackpot Festival 2019. This tribute is to pay homage to three of the best to ever do it in Zydeco music. Who better to pay homage to the kings than their own offspring who, in their own right, continue to carry the torch. Performing at this great event will be CJ Chenier, Buckwheat Jr (Sir Reginal Dural), Rockin' Dopsie Jr, and Anthony Dopsie. Showtime is 9 pm at Rock 'n Bowl de Lafayette with Gerald Gruenig as host. This is an event where lovers of zydeco, past and present, can come dance the night away in a family-friendly environment.
