Lafayette, LA:  The next virtual PASA in Your Casa concert will swing when Nebu Nezey sings Rhythm & Blues and a little more at 7 p.m. on Friday, January 29 offered by Performing Arts Serving Acadiana (PASA). She’ll be joined by Tzur Ben Israel on the piano. Tickets to the online event are available at http://bit.ly/PASANebu or on PASA's website www.pasonline.org.

Nezey has sung non-stop since she was two years old. She is a highly skilled vocalist who has always had music in her veins. It was inevitable that she would be an entertainer. Her influences are widely diverse, inspired by such artists as Sybil, Queen, Donnie Hathaway, SWV, Selena, Cathy Dennis, Wilson Phillips, and Whitney Houston.

She has toured as an opening act for Avant, Jon B, Ginuwine, Urban Mystic and Bruh Man, the actor/comedian who was seen in Martin. She advanced to the second round of BET's syndicated Gospel show Sunday Best.

She is a vocal coach, teaching a wide variety of students of all ages and skill levels.

Her most recent recording is Nebula, which is available on all digital media platforms.

The concert is free, but registration is required in order to receive a link to the performance.

“We could not be more excited than we are to have Nebu Nezey and Tzur Ben Israel perform for us on January 29,” says Jacqueline Lyle, PASA’s executive director. “Nebu is a warm presence in the music world and her song list runs wide over a variety of genres.”

The streaming show is an offshoot of Comfy Couch Concerts, which have taken place in the home of PASA’s executive director Jacqueline Lyle and her husband, Conrad Comeaux.
