Welcome to DTA! House Sessions, presented by Evangeline Maid! We are excited to welcome Cajun power couple, Louis and Ashlee Michot for our next DTA! virtual concert.

Louis is a founding member and front-man of Grammy award winning Lost Bayou Ramblers. He is also a member of Michot's Melody Makers and Soul Creole, a trio that consist of Louis, Ashlee, and Zydeco musician Corey Ledet. Ashlee is a French teacher, multimedia artist and poet — who recently edited and contributed to the first French-language collection of women writers from Louisiana, “Ô Malheureuse!”

This Friday will also mark the first Soul Creole album release! "TROIS RANGS" will be available on 7” vinyl, plus digital release starting Friday. Purchases can be made via nouveauelectricrecords.com.

Downtown Alive! House Sessions are a series of #StayAtHome Friday night concerts for Acadiana, presented by Evangeline Maid and organized by Downtown Lafayette. The House Sessions are a way for all of us to help Acadiana musicians who are out of work due to the ongoing coronavirus situation. The series will support local musicians and make staying home fun!

Local musicians are the backbone of Acadiana's culture, and right now they are losing out on income from canceled gigs. Let's support them by sending a tip and purchasing their albums.
