DTA! House Session with Lane Mack (virtual concert)

  • Facebook Live stream (map)

Welcome to DTA! House Sessions!

Downtown Alive! House Sessions are a series of #StayAtHome Friday night concerts for Acadiana, presented by Evangeline Maid and organized by Downtown Lafayette. These shows will be produced and broadcasted over social media, so the community can continue to enjoy music on Friday nights from the comfort of their own homes as we practice shelter-at-home.

The House Sessions are a way for all of us to help Acadiana musicians who are out of work due to the ongoing coronavirus situation. The series will support local musicians and make staying home fun! We kick the series off with LANE MACK who will serenade us from his home on Friday, March 27 at 7:00 PM. Please share this event with all of your friends and tune-in on Friday at 7:00 PM to enjoy the show!

Local musicians are the backbone of Acadiana's culture, and right now they are losing out on income from canceled gigs. Let's support them by sending a tip, purchasing their albums, and donating to the Lost My Gig Fundraiser. Lost My Gig is a fundraiser by Social Entertainment, Downtown Lafayette, The Current, and Acadiana Center for the Arts that has already raised over $15,000 for local musicians. The fundraiser will provided supplemental income to musicians who have lost out on gigs due to the coronavirus emergency.
