Breakfast with Bill Hunter of Architects Southwest

One of our organization's goals this year is to facilitate smart development in north Lafayette Parish, first and foremost by understanding the tools available to achieve that goal. At this meeting, our speaker will be Bill Hunter of Architects Southwest. He will speak on real estate development trends and the design planning effort he is leading, as commissioned by LCG, for the Evangeline Corridor.

Bill Hunter is an urban designer at Architects Southwest (ASW) and is Vice Chair of LCG's Historic Preservation Commission. Having received an undergraduate degree from the LSU School of Architecture and a Master of Science from University College London, his experience includes the management of complex architectural and urban development projects for cities across the US, UK/Europe, India, and Southeast Asia. Bill has held academic positions at universities in the UK and US and his research on cities and communities has been published widely in professional and academic journals, edited books, magazines and online.
