Dr. Adler’s leadership is described as thoughtful, reflective, methodical and guided by her deep spirituality. She is known to be a gracious and personable woman. In her prestigious career in education, Dr. Adler is highly respected as an expert in the field.
Dr. Adler received a master’s degree from Louisiana State University, a master’s degree plus 30 hours including coursework from Tulane University in supervision and administration, and a doctoral degree from the University of New Orleans.
She was appointed by the Louisiana Department of Education to advisory councils and task forces devoted to special education reform, and was chairperson of the State Special Education Advisory Council from 1996 to 2008. She has served on the board of trustees of Schools of the Sacred Heart in Grand Coteau since 2012.
